First Day: Depart from the
Rio Grande Valley of Texas, clearing Mexican customs in Reynosa. Cruise
over to Monterrey, capital of the state of Nuevo León. After lunch you'll
continue on to Saltillo, where you'll see the thrilling Museum of the Desert and a Serape Factory, where you can buy fine handicrafts. You'll overnight at the beautiful Hotel Camino Real in Saltillo.
Second Day: This morning you'll motor over to Durango, where you'll visit the famous movie studios upon entering town and you'll overnight at the Hotel Plaza Vizcaya.
Third Day: Early
departure (after picking up your box lunches) through outstanding mountain
scenery, over to the beautiful Pacific resort of Mazatlan. Your next two
nights will be at the Playa Mazatlán Hotel, right on the beach. Evening
is for leisure.

Fourth Day: Sightseeing in this beautiful tropical city of Mazatlán. City tour
includes the zócalo, municipal palace, arts center, and "Ice Box
Hill," which served as a look out point for pirate ships during the
16th and 17th centuries. Today, your Tour Conductor will be available to
help with any special requests or purchases.

Fifth Day: This morning you'll journey on to magnificent Guadalajara. Your home for
the next two nights will be Hotel Holiday Inn Centro Historico near the plazas and promenades in the heart of the city. Fountains,
Flowers and monuments surrounded by beautifully sculpted buildings are
inviting to everyone. In the evening, it's an easy walk from your hotel to
take in a band concert or do some people watching over a bag of popcorn
(called, palomitas, "little doves" in Spanish). Breakfast Included.
Sixth Day: Get ready for a colorful shopping experience. You will visit Tlaquepaque,
famous for inexpensive but exquisite handicraft items. Save a few pesos to
buy pottery and ceramics at inviting shops with lush courtyards of
bougainvillea. Conclude sightseeing at Lake Chapala and Ajijic. The serene
beauty of this sparkling lake is a peaceful way to end the day. This area
is a favorite spot for thousands of Canadians and U.S. Citizens.
Seventh Day: Head for
the hills and home. You'll return through Matehuala. Spend the night at Las Palmas Midway Inn Hotel in Matehuala.

Eighth Day: Welcome home. Early departure this morning over the Sierra Madres
and back to Texas with memories of a most enjoyable visit to one of
Mexico's most interesting areas. Arrive about 5:30 PM.

The resort city
of Mazatlán offers many alternatives to swimming, surfing and sun
bathing, including some of the most exciting game fishing in the world!
During your stay at this delightful Pacific coast resort, you'll have the
opportunity to arrange through your hotel (optional) deep sea fishing. You
can see the fishing fleets, seawolves and seals as well as three islands
located just off the coast. And of course there will be time for shopping
