Can You Get Mexican Car Insurance for an RV?

There is available for visitors. These policies typically cover:
  • Liability. Third party liability is required in Mexico with a limit of $500,000 to provide compensation for injury or property damage you may cause other people.
  • Medical Expenses. Medical expenses help cover the cost of medical expenses caused by an accident.
  • Physical Damage. Physical damage coverage combines collision and comprehensive coverage to protect against damages due to collisions and environmental damage such as fire or windstorms.
  • Theft. You can purchase either partial or full theft and vandalism coverage.
  • Excess Liability. Excess liability is useful in the unfortunate case that a crash with another car results in the other driver’s or passenger’s death.
If your motorhome has a separate vehicle and trailer, both must carry equal amount of insurance for the duration of your stay in Mexico.
